drammies

first i've ever heard of the drammies but guess it comes with the territory. after all, there must be industry awards for the various industries right. and scotch whisky is a wonderful industry.
a wee dram keeps us sane, sated and satisfied.
anyway, the 2007 drammies was held earlier this year when i was in pakistan and i do wish i was there for it. but i can say that i have had some of the whiskies that won a drammie.
and among the whiskies i have had the good fortune of imbibing include a personal favourite like laphroaig quarter cask which won bang for the buck, bruichladdich which took the prize for being the distiller/blender/independent bottler of the year and of course, glenfarclas for being the most under-rated whisky.
now, back to life as we know it!
