single malt television

it had to happen.
and it has happened.
welcome to www.singlemalt.tv - the latest channel on the market.
browsed through and read that it is helmed by charles maclean, whom the bbc have dubbed as "scotland' foremost whisky writer". i know of him as the founding editor of whisky magazine but he is also the contributing editor of the scotch malt whisky society's newsletter.
definitely a man with a taste for the finest things in life - single malt.
while i have yet to watch any of his television programs, maclean has been described as a witty and colourful television persona and for singlemalt.tv, he will travel the length and breadth of scotland visiting distilleries, introducing many of Scotland's leading whisky distillers and bringing his unique and colorful viewpoint to the screen.
now i wish i had that job.
according to the website, singlemalt.tv will be a self-contained, membership-driven, internet tv channel devoted solely to the history, tradition, manufacture and enjoyment of single malt scotch and aimed squarely at single malt fans from novice to the connoisseur.
well, what are you waiting for? enjoy your wee dram and watch the programme.
